Skin Tightening

Skin Tightening Through Soft Tissue Coagulation for Firmer Faces, Firmer Bodies and Fastest Recovery.

Loss of skin elasticity is a classic sign of aging skin - or photodamaged skin. When skin elasticity lessens, it can result in sagging skin in the face and neck - as well as on the arms, legs and stomach. Not surprisingly, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery ranks tummy tucks as one of the top five cosmetic surgical procedures performed in 2008.

Traditional surgical skin tightening procedures are expensive and painful and require significant patient recovery times. Palomar's light-based skin tightening through soft tissue coagulation gives you a nonsurgical solution that results in firmer, smoother, more youthful-looking skin after a well-tolerated, in-office treatment that requires little to no recovery time.

Our skin tightening technology uses pulses of infrared light to create fractional areas of deep heating. This causes soft-tissue coagulation that tightens tissue as it heals, while our proprietary Advanced Contact Cooling promotes client comfort and safety.

Not all skin tightening procedures are equal. Palomar® has pioneered the technology and perfected the procedure with our unique fractional approach that delivers highly effective heat to greater depths with less skin trauma, for superior skin tightening with greater comfort and ease.

The Smooth Shapes XV device uses the Company's proprietary Photomology ® platform: a process that treats cellulite by combining 915 continuous wave diode laser and 650 LED energy along with mechanical manipulation (vacuum and massage). Smooth Shapes XV addresses the underlying causes and physical manifestations of cellulite by treating enlarged fat cells and brittle or inflexible fibre septae, it provides results that patients can see and feel.

How Skin Tightening Through Soft Tissue Coagulation Works

Skin tightening uses pulses of infrared light to create fractional areas of deep heating. These heated areas coagulate tissue in the dermis and hypodermis while Advanced Contact Cooling preserves the epidermis and upper dermis. The body's natural healing response generates new tissue, reducing skin laxity and causing the skin to appear tighter.
